Synopsis:
When Carl (Tom Sturridge) expelled from school, he had no choice but to placate his mother to be sent to meet Quentin (Bill Nighy), Carl godfather, who was on a ship in the waters outside the UK.
Quentin turns out is one of the illegal radio team that plays songs rock and roll of the ship at anchor in the international area. Team radio broadcasts for 24 hours was led by The Count (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and consists of rock music lovers who also became the DJ of the ship.
